Question missed period and spotting after sex

Hey. I missed my period last month except for a little bleeding that wasn't even enough for a full tampon. Then last night I had sex for the first time in 3 months and there has been a light amount of blood every time I pee today. I can't imagine little tears bleeding more than a lil right after. I had that happen once. I just don't know what could be causing this. The almost nonexistent period 2 weeks ago also has me thinking this is more than a small tear. Any ideas? I'm really worried.

That is not an easy question to answer without a whole lot of information. But If it is a concern for you it is time to go in for a pelvic exam.

What do I need to include? I just had an exam and pap smear 3 months ago and all was good.

Re: missed period and spotting after sex

Is there anyone who would no something? I'm still spotting today when I pee. Its nowhere near enough to be a period but I've not bled more than just a drop after sex before. It has me really worried but I don't have insurance for a doctor.

Re: missed period and spotting after sex

is there any chance that you are pregnant? Spotting after sex when pregnant is fairly common.

Re: missed period and spotting after sex

Hey I've heard of that but if I was pregnant I'd be like 3 months pregnant and I've had a couple periods in that time. So I really didn't think so. Maybe I should test though just in case. Thanks.

Re: missed period and spotting after sex

Well good luck, if you keep spotting and missing periods I would make an appt. with you gyno, it would be a good idea to check and see what's up. Sorry I couldn't be much help.

Re: missed period and spotting after sex

So I talked to a girl in the pregnancy section who said she had a period for 3 months of her pregnancy so even though I've had 2 since I missed one and had that bleeding thing I really should test so you've helped. Thanks!
