I have also read that some doctors say to use 1 tube in a week, so that would be about 14% of what a man normally uses. If you are using a 5 gm tube up in less than 7 days then I would think that you are using too much.

He wrote about one of his female patients who has found out that varying her dosage worked best for her. She was a lawyer and found that if she increased the dose on court days that she was more aggressive in court, so she started to skip the testosterone on office days and increase it on court days. She would use it on the weekends only if she expected to have sex. I don't know if this is a good idea, but perhaps you could ask your doctor if it might be good to use it only when you expect to have sex.
