Brazilian Bikini Wax?

I'm starting to consider getting one to partially out of curiousity and partially out of vanity (I'd like a neater appearance). Has anyone tried this? I know regular bikini waxes can make your eyes water, but this sounds almost excrutiating. Then again, are the results worth it?

Thanks for your input,
Deb

Ok I want you to try something! Take a pair of tweezers and get a whole bunch of hairs and pull as fast as you can. That is how it feels but everywhere at the same time! IT HURTS LIKE A BIATCH! It might look better afterwards (except for the possible redness, bumps, etc.) but the pain is more than just eye watering pain. It is more like screaming your head off pain! LOL not trying to scare you! If you really want the clean look without the pain, try shaving or depilatory creams. Good luck!

It hurts like you wouldn't believe!!! My advice to you is to get a regular bikini wax and shave the rest. It's just not worth it! I cringe just thinking about it

Re: Brazilian Bikini Wax?

no no no no!!! do NOT shave!! It'll be a big mistake. It may be less painful to get rid of the hair down there, but it'll hurt and itch like no other when it starts to grow back (like the next day).

And this is coming from a girl who has very little hair down there! I wax myself and yes it hurts. The first time I did it I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. But I started right in the middle so there was no going back.

If you shave you'll get razor burn and TONS of ingrowns. I don't recommend it at all. I really believe that the instantaneous pain from waxing is MUCH more bearable than the grow back period of shaving (it's TOTALLY unbearable). Even when you shave it close it still catches on your panties and when rubbed in the wrong direction...OUCH!! Waxing also lasts much long and feels like a baby's butt after a day.

Go to a pro...and while you're there...get it decorated with a crystal tattoo. My bf loved it when I surprised him with one! They also last quite some time...through showers and sex and all!

Re: Brazilian Bikini Wax?

here's a suggestion for all you girls who like a "clean" look, but don't want to wax...
i bought a men's beard and mustach trimmer, basically a mini shaver. it works perfectly! you can shave to any length you want and not deal with the pain. and for that brazillian look, just do a bare shave.

Re: Brazilian Bikini Wax?

or you can try 'MAGIC' it is in a gold can. it is shaving powder specifically made for black men to use on their faces to stop razer stubble or little red bumps. It works everywhere!!!! inner labia, rectum, smooth as silk afterwards with none of the uncomfortableness of shaving or using neet or nair (which are very harsh on delicate areas!)

think about it, this product is made expecially for the face. try it out., i guarentee good results. it's in the drug stores where the men's stuff is.. ie: brillocream, and stuff.

GreyGhost - I have been getting Brazilians (well actaully the name for mine is a Hollywood - EVERYTHING off) for over a year now and I would never turn back. I don't find them too painful and believe me your sex drive will go through the roof! I reccomend you go to a salon and make sure they use hard wax not strip. Let us know how it goes!

My advice sweetheart...grin and bear baby!!! What you get out of 2 minutes of intense pain, you make up for in a beautiful, clean, delicious poontang...and there is nothing better on the face of the earth than that.

Re: Brazilian Bikini Wax?

I've been shaving my pubes for quite a while now. Yeah, it itched like hell at first, but now it's just a ritual like shaving my legs, haha. Shaving every day will irritate your skin. I only do it once in a while when its necessary, or when I know I'm going to see that special someone.

How much does a Brazilian Bikini Wax cost?

Re: Brazilian Bikini Wax?

Brazilian wax does not hurt more then a regular bikini wax. The skin is really sensitive near the bikini. I cried the first time, it really freaken hurts!!! It was beautiful though and I didn't take all the v off just the sides and some hair from my butt (that didn't hurt at all). It only lasted a week for me though! But it was worth it for my honeymoon. I would only do it now if I was going on vacation. I would try only to use french wax - it is pink and more delicate on the skin - but more expensive!

Now I shave and it grows back the next day which sucks with lots of ingrown hairs, I use a loofah everday and that works great on the ingrowns!!! There is also a product called Tend skin. It is a liquid for ingrowns and works great.

If you have tried a regular bikini wax definately go for the brazilian wax! It does not hurt more, just the same. Don't forget that the more and more you wax the area, the more used to it you become.
[This message has been edited by bubbles1 (edited 04-02-2002).]
