Virgin who needs help

Long story short I'm an older(29)virgin who doesn't feel ready for a relationship yet due to a busy life(I'm a writer with several books that I will be publishing soon, I also plan on traveling) anyway, I've been looking for good dildos or vibrator that I could use to satisfy the nasty feelings that we all have, LOL!

I've been masturbating for years with some full penetration(nothing as thick as penis though)but I can use two fingers, I've seen some realistic dildos that I would like to try out so when I do have sex eventually the experience will be less awkward and more fun.

I look at some of the thicker ones and they scare me a little(LOL!) so I was wondering what would be a good girth for someone in my situation? There are some that are nine inches long and two inches thick but I'm not sure if I could handle them yet.
I'm also a heavy squirter(with each orgasm)and I get extremely wet, would I still require lube or would what nature provided be good enough?

I heard that the Hitachi Magic Wand is great. I personally like the silver bullet.

Well believe it or not most sex toy websites/stores recommend using a warmed cucumber or zuchini to gauge the size and width you'd be comfortable with. These things aren't cheap after all and they aren't returnable. So once you find what size your comfortable with then you look for product. If your wanting to mimic the realness of intercourse, then purchase one that is "realistic modeled", they'll give you the closest feeling to the real thing. Vibes are great for external play and clitoral stimulation.

As for your lube question, you'll be fine once you get going, but for initial insertion you may still need lubrication. KY jelly or astroglide are recommended, they're the same thing actually and what Dr.'s use for all types of vaginal/anal/prostate exams, water soluble, non-staining. Remember a little goes a long way. You can also get generic brands at many grocery or super stores for $3 bucks or so.

Happy shopping and have fun!

That's great advice, I'll certainly try out a cucumber first, I never thought to do that.

The super realistic ones are expensive so yes, it's best to go for a test run.
I'll also be getting some cheap lube.
Yes, I will have fun! LOL!

Not trying to be smartass or butt-in, but grocery store cucumbers are coated with some nasty preservatives you might not want. Cover it or get a homegrown one.

No, you're not being either one of those things:)
I never thought about the nasty weirdness that can be on veggies, thanks for the reminder.

Look for something at a natural size. I think everything looks big before you've had the real thing (and had the pressure to force it in) but it usually feels amazing with the natural size (as someone who has played with a few sizes).
