| Strange soreness, please help
I have a bothersome problem that I need some help with, last weekend I shaved my genitals with menthol shaving cream (which I don't think was the best idea) and some accidentally got inside my vagina.
I immediately took a shower and cleaned it off, thinking that would help me out, ever since then I have had this persistent soreness in the area around my vaginal opening, it isn't that severe but it has become annoying.
Even though I am sexually active I have no sores or weird discharge or even a smell, just this pain, which has improved a little but it's still there.
Every once in awhile it is also a little itchy.
What can I do to treat myself? And should I be worried about STDs? I've had protected sex with multiple partners.
