butt scars - Sexual Health - Women Message Board

I'm a 19 year old girl and have an embarrasing problem with scars on my butt....I was sick in bed for three months with Mono (this was over the summer) and because my cat would sleep on my bed i got bitten by quite a few fleas, so i would scratch the bites and they would bleed, because my body was in such a bad state they haven't healed up very well and it looks really ugly, like i have pimples or something and i don't want anyone to see....could anyone suggest and creams that might help? i tried using vitamin e oil and it doesn't seem to have helped, i want to be able to wear a swimsuit but since i have some on my thighs as well it would look really bad...help!

It is hard to tell without seeing which would work the best, but consider:

polysporin (helps scarring and infection)

Hydrocortison(sp?) cream (good for allergic rashes, itchy rashes,insect bites)

Zinc Oxyde cream (for diaper rashes, but it actually works for a lot more stuff than that

They are all over the counter. Good luck!
