Hi,
Ive not been one to have sex on a regular basis and the times I HAVE had sex never gotten pregnant.Am getting married in a few weeks and am a bit curious.Please don't think Im a putz but do you think it is possible that I may be a"Fertile Myrtle"?I ask this because getting married and being married I will have sex regularly.Ive not had many problems with my Menstrual Cycle and am a healthy gal,so guess it was a stroke of luck that I never got pregnant before..Iam a big gal and did have a few slight problems with my cycle a few years ago..Many doctors say that larger woman CANT get pregnant OR its awfully hard...

Oh poo on that Dr. I can't believe a Dr. would actually say something as ignorant as that. Do you think the sperm care if you are a bigger person or not? No!! If you have sex and you ovulate, and sperm meets it and fertilizes it, your going to get pregnant. If you are not wanting to become pregnant, please get protection. Either the pill or something, is a heck of a lot better then ending up pregnant and having to make that decision. Your size has absolutely nothing to do with the chances of you getting pregnant. To think that would be absolute sillyness. If your future hubby and you don't want kids yet, just go on the pill or something. Good luck and be careful!!

You defintely got REALLY lucky if you had sex without protection and didn't get pregnant. It has nothing to do with any sort of experiences with not getting pregnant from intercourse.

Doctor IS ignorant.

Well...oh poo believe it!I had a Gynocologist tell me that.He also told me he decided against putting me on Clomid(for the small problem I was having)BECAUSE I was large and wasn't CONSIDERING having kids.*** is up with that??I mean...hello shouldn't that be MY decision??My Fiance and I have discussed various methods of BC,however haven't reached a decision on what type.He don't want me taking anything that may cause birth defects.Thanks for making me feel like a woman again.It really cuts down deep and makes you feel less of one when a silly doctor tells you your not capable of conceiving due to size.In fact,I know a lady that had a healthy pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby.She is much larger than myself.Also has PCOD,something I do NOT have.Thank you for your feedback..
