I've recently purchased a diaphragm (yes… I know no one uses them anymore) but that’s beside the point. Anyway, this is my third time using it and when I took it out there was a whole bunch of blood on it. (and I don’t have my period) Does anyone know what this could mean???
Let me also mention, that I recently (1 week ago) got off my birth control pills after 3 years.. could this be the cause of the bleeding?
Anyone have any ideas?? Should I be worried?

First, have you ever had abnormal bleeding before? I have from time to time and it was always a sign of an ovarian cyst. That's just my experiences with bleeding abnormally. You'd better call your OBGYN though to be safe. But, I'm sure it's nothing.

i'd call the doc too.. but don't worry too much.. going on or off the pill always makes me crazy and bleed whenever!

I had the same problem when I used one. I later found out that one I had scratched myself ( I have rather long nails) and my body does NOT like the spermacide that you have to use with it.
