I am having what you would call an internet relationship. I have known this girl for over a year and have for the past 2 months gotten serious with her.
She is coming to visit me in a month. I really really like her a lot but she has told me that she has a low self esteem due to her appearance. I'm not sure how much she weighs as I've only seen a couple of pictures of her but I don't care at all. I really like her for her person. I think sex will come into the picture and I'm worried about how she will feel about her issue. I am a very visual person and she knows that but what can I do or say to make her feel more comfortable about how she looks to me? I'm not a lights off feel around person. I like the lights on and it really stimulates me to see the other persons eyes and face. I think she is willing to do all that, but I still want her to feel OK with it and not have it affect our relationship or sexlife. What can I do to make her feel comfortable? I really dig her and I want things to be natural and not forced if you get my drift.

If she brings it up, give her abig hug, and tell her you don't care. Make it a opening to show how much you dig her. If she isn't to uncomfortable, you can kind of have fun with it. Show exactly why they call it "love handles".

I've date big and kinny men. I love them all! LOL But seriously, she's a good person. You really like her. She likes you. Thats all that matters. People put too much into physical appearance. I understand. I am not huge or ugly, but no matter I am still self-conscience. You need to help her build her self-confidence. Not just by telling her she is pretty or nice, but by showing her with your actions. A girl could be extremely georgeous with nice breasts, pretty skin and hair, nice body.....but what does that matter if her personality sucks and shes shallow?
