Are you asking if it's different for women in that they might have fantasies or actual experiences while still not considering themselves gay or bi?
If that's the question, I don't think it's any different IMO. If you have sex with someone of the same sex, and you like it, and you'd do it again, I don't care if you're a man or a woman, you're bi, if not gay. Whether they admit it or not. It just seems to be more socially acceptable for a woman to be bi or bi-curious than is it for a man. Anyway, this is a weird question, because it's all in the eye of the beholder.
I might belive what I just wrote up there while a woman who's had sex with another woman might still claim she's not bi, we'd just have to disagree. (But it seems so far that these women are willing to admit they're bi or bi-curious, not all women would.)
