Yes stds and yeast can be spread from oral sex. You need to make sure your partner is std free and doesnt have a yeast infection. If you are in doubt of this then simply get use a dental dam over her vuvla(outside area of the vagina) and you will be protected. A dental dam is either a condom split open to form a sheet or even sarah wrap. You just place either over the vuvla and you have protection.
Other than that it is safe to do as long as you know your partner is clean. Clean as in stds free and yeast infection free.
