I know that a pap smear can help to dignose the virus, but if they receive an abnormal pap they have you come in and run further testing. Sometimes warts are visible sometimes they are not. It is also dependent on the area of the warts. I would definitely mention your concern to your doctor so they look more closing to see if you are infected.
I know how hard this must be. I am currently in the process of divorcing my husband. He cheated on me too. It take awhile for the virus to actually form. You can be a carrier and not have signs yet. One thing also to note that you can get warts even using a condom if they are on the outter part of the skin. I hope everything works out for you. I hope this is somewhat helpful.
