molluscum diagnosed. please help - Sexually Transmitted Diseases Message Board

the nurse practitioner looked at the tiny pimple on the shaft of my penis. i guess its molluscum. she put nitrogen on it and said to come back again so she could put more on it. i almost started to cry. it feels like i ruined my life. what do i do now? once you have it, do you have outbreaks the rest of your life? does this mean no more sex or intimacy? id appreciate some help. thanks

You could do an internet search for "molluscum contagium", you will probably find lots of useful information. After the initial outreak of bumps, most people never get them again, although the virus remains in their system. However, the initial outbreak can last for months, or even a year.

Is the nitrogen helping? Did it help? I have a few left that i need to get rid of and I am getting impatient of waiting. lol

i had it done only once so far. so it really hasnt done anything yet. i hope it works out for you, good luck.

huh.

i had those on the back of my leg. i didnt know they were a STD. i just left them alone and they got really really sore,red and then fell off, i have scars now but they never came back
