What else can it be?

Hi, Well about 2 or 3 months ago, I started noticing that i was getting a few blisters on my genitals. I had no idea what it was and although I remember at some point about 7 months earlier I had gotten them 2 (but I dont remember if and when they went away) I just ignored them & even had sex with another partner. I didnt know what it was and I totally ignored it until about a little over a month ago when i went to shave down there that i got a terrible scare. I mean i didnt even get any symptoms of any sort. No burning or itching or irration. I just saw a cluster of blisters on my genitals. Ive been doing alot of research on herpes because i just happened to think that that is what it was. But i mean, from what i heard with herpes you get symptoms and also your outbreaks clear up after a few days. But from the looks of this, it has been here for months without me knowing. (I dont know how that is possible, but it is) I know that herpes is not the same in everybody. But isnt this a bit weird. Is it possible that it can be something else? And if so, can anyone please let me know what else it could be so that i can do some research on it too. I know that i should go to a doctor, but honestly, Im terrified and ashamed and i dont know where else to go to. Im so glad that i found this board, because i think this is the last place i could turn to before i drive myself nuts. Ive been taking vitamins each day for the past few days and ive also been putting garlic oil on the blisters and there has been a major improvement. But what im asking is if anyone can tell me if there is any possibility that what i have can be anything else. Maybe even something curable (Im praying to God each day). Im so scared and i really dont know what to anymore. Thanks for all ur help and support. And thanks so much for reading my poll you guys. I'll appreciate any insight you have for me greatly!!

Re: What else can it be?

If they are truly blisters, and not ingrown hairs, it could be herpes. Some outbreaks clear up quickly, others can hang on for what seems like forever. Some people have classic symptoms, other people don't even notice they have it. The blisters usually form in clusters, then evenually crust over and disappear. It doesn't really matter where the blisters are, you can get an OB pretty much anywhere. That is why condoms don't really protect you from herpes, unless the person has an OB directly on their penis or vagina.
You owe it to yourself and future partners to get tested while you still have what may be an active sore. That is when the test is most accurate. Go down to your local health dept. if you don't want to go to your doctor. They'll test you for free. Don't be embarrassed! It's the responsible thing to do. It may be nothing, but if it is herpes; the herpes board on this website has lots of good info and support.
Good Luck!

Re: What else can it be?

The blisters are in small clusters and they've been in the same location for a few months now. And i get occasional little bumps around the blisters that come and go every now and then. They are by my genital area.
