I had unsafe sex in september of 2002. I got tested at my school's health center with a Pap smear, blood test and urine test. I was clean. I need to know what kinds of STDs are found with those tests and if it depends on what they choose to test for? or do the certain tests just find a whole lot of things?
I'm just worried and would like to know what diseases are out of the question for me and what's still a possibility. I've been reading the posts about HPV, and that's scary, because I know that's a possibility.

Really? I sure hope so. I have read on here that it's unknown how HPV is contracted through sexual contact. I know the guy does not have AIDs, because he went into the army right after and they don't let you into the army if you have the HIV virus. I had all the testing done a few days after the incident, so I'm worried that it may not ahve caught anything so quickly. Yet I have had no symptoms, but it's just my luck not to have any, which makes me think it's also my luck that I probably do have something. I've been having sex with my current partner since late December 2002, and he has shown no symptoms either. I'm thinking about going to my school's health center and getting tested again.

When they swab the inside of your vagina with a long Q-tip, is that the PAP smear?
