Question now what?!!

well, it's been over a month now since i had my warts removed by laser, and so far so good...none have resurfaced. however, i just got some bad news. i went in for my post op doctors appointment and she did another pap smear (the 3rd one i've had in 4 months) because she said that my last one revealed that i had some dysplasia. she said that if my pap came back normal, she wouldn't call me and she'd see me in a year, but if it came back abnormal again, she'd have to do a coloscopy (sp?). well, i got the call yesterday, and i have to go under anestesia once again so that they can get a microscope up into my cervix and make sure everything's ok up there.

the warts scared me a little, but not too bad because i knew they could be removed. however, this whole dysplasia and possible cervical cancer scares the crud outta me. does anyone here have any experience with this? can someone give me any advice or info? it'd be greatly appreciated...thank you

I'm all new on the whole dysplasia stuff to the point where I havenít had any procedures done since it's still like in the mild stage and my doctor wants to wait and see if it goes away on it's on which I'm hoping it does.

They say as long as you stay on top of your papís everything will be fine. I also hear that it will not affect having kids in the future. Just take care of your self, don't smoke and take a supplement vitamin along with some folic acid. They say females should take folic acid during their childbearing days anyway.
