hi all.

i was wondering whether anyone can shed some light on what i have. i have never had sex so find it hard it could be an std, but have done 'other stuff'. i notice a red patch round the groin area. i researched this and it has been made pretty clear that it's 'jock itch' - a fungal infection of the groin - i have just got some cream to sort this out.

but i noticed a month or two ago, i have loads of stripey scar-like tissue - they look like creases at the top back of my leg - maybe orignating from around the anus. they don't extend very far but when i run my hand across them my skin feels stripey, it's hard to explain.

i would be vry greatful if anyone cold shed any light on this.

Could they be stretch marks?

My husband has them across the biceps on his arms from where his muscles grew too fast after training. If I run my fingers across them I can feel the difference in the skin - it feels thinner on the striped parts!

It is common to get stretch marks across any areas that grow quite fast either because of muscle growth or accumulation of fat.
