Hello All,

I was recently diagnosed with MPC(mucopurulent cervicitis) and am awaiting test results for possible chlamydia and gonorrhea infection. I also have extreme foliculitous on my buns(I have had this since I was 14). My question is, I used a liquid lubricant about a month ago and immediately my vagina was irritated and red. Today I woke up and noticed an open sore near my anus. I am scared of having Herpes, but I did not have any blisters or bumps to have cause the open sore. I just went to the health clinic two days ago and they gave me a pelvic exam and pap. Is it possible that I could have irritated that area some how(tight pants, chemical irritants etc.) that could have a cause a single sore. I have also been picking at my private area and scrathing ever since the day I used the lubricant. I have also just recently taking antibiotics for the MPC. Could antibiotics cause such a reaction?

The open sore only hurts when I pee or if I rub it, but the pain is not excruciating or debilitating. I read herpes symptoms and they say that it usually starts as a fluid filled blister and it is usually more than one. I have never had anything like this before and I am truly worried. I have another appointment at the clinic, but it is not till Dec. 30. I am affraid I will worry myself to death until then.
