My situation (please help if possible)

So here is what happened with me:

I am a 22 year old male and it had been about 4 months since the last time that I had sex. Well, 2 Friday's ago I was hanging out with my roommate and his sister drinking at the house. Basically it came down that we were "pre-drinking" so that my roommate and myself were going to go out a little bit later on, she is just 19 and was going to stay at the house anyways. Well, it all boils down that I really didn't feel like going (honestly, I didn't feel like spending money when we had a fridge full of beer, but my roommate left anyways). So basically it came down to 2 drunk people together, alone for a few hours, and I am sure that you all know where this is going. So we end up doing our thing. I was pretty drunk and I did wear a condom each time. I made sure to ask her the next day because I was all worried because she was actually pregnant at one time. The thing is, she gave me oral, which she was awful at, so I was hoping that that could be the reason why I was hurting (few days later) but it went on for way too long.

So flash forward 4 days and it was starting to burn everytime I went to the bathroom. I was hoping for the best, and actually asked her a couple times, "are you sure I wrapped up each time" and she says ya. So after doing a little bit of research, I am guessing that I could have either gonorrhea or chlamydia, or both. So a week later (I don't know why I waited so long) I finally decide to go to the doctor today. I tell him my situation but after the examination he says that it just looks infected.

So I have read and heard all about the cotton swab thing for guys or a blood test and I was dreading both. He listens to my symptoms and says that he is going to test me for the 2. So all I have to do is pee in a cup. He prescribes me 2 doses of ciprofloxacin and 1 dose of 4 of zithromax.

I am prepared for what I find out in the next 3 days, but am wondering if I will need to get more tests done afterwards if I do have something or if this should cure it. I read the majority of the posts pertaining to this subject and some people said that it was gone after 2 days, some said it took up to 10.

The worst thing is going to be telling her if something does show up even though I most likely got it from her, I am not too sure if something would linger in my body and then all of a sudden start to burn after that Friday night if I didn't.

And yes, my roommate does know what happened between us.

Another question I have, is that if I do have one or both, and use the anti-biotics, is it gone forever, as long as I am not infected again. I have been educated more in the last week from the internet on this topic, but sorry if that is just a stupid question, I just don't know enough.

Thanks for any comments

Yes the antibiotic will make them gone forever, Unless you get infected with them again! I love how guys say, "she was awful at it" thats great. And what does her having been pregnant at one time have to do with anything? Not trying to be harsh, but that has nothing to do with anything. STD's are called just that, if you used a condom it's not likey, but possible. Its Safer sex, not safe sex. And dont be positive you got it from her, when was hte last time you had sex? You coudl have jst been getting the symptoms by coincidence . . . . sometimes it takes a week maybe even 2.
