| Syphillis treatment
Hi all,
Three years ago, I was diagnosed with syphillis and had recieved the adequate treatment for it but my titer did not go down. I repeated the treatment this year gain as I was scared with another three shots of penicillin but the titer still has not gone down (1:64). My doctor says it is not infectitious but I am just worried. I am not HIV positive either and I have never had many sex partners or anything like that. I am just so worried as to what could be happening to me. I never had any symptoms for syphillis either and now also, I have no health problems. Has anyone been in a similar situation? I just don't know what to do. Does this mean that the treatment is not working and could it progres to nuero syphillis. My doctor says it is unlikely but I am so worried. Please give me some idea.
