Hello, about 6 months ago, in October, I had protected sex with a girl who i assume had multiple sex partners. We only had sex for about 10-15 seconds before I realized what I was doing (after the bars). I really wasn't too scared at first because I was barely in there for 15 seconds, and I wore a condom. Then in march, I felt like a burning sensation on the lower part of my right and left testicle and between my anus and scrotum. I began freaking out and went and got tested for an Std. The doctor examined me and listened to my story. I had not signs of any bumps or urination problems. I have had no blisters or sores. The doctor diagnosed the burning as a bacteria/fungus infection (I went swimming two days before at the college pool and the burning showed up 2 days later.) She said that I didn't have an Hpv or herpes or any other std. She recommended using Cortizone 10. After about two days, everything was gone.

However, two days ago, the burning sensation returned. Basically, this burning sensation is appearing on the parts of the scrotum and under the testicle area that has a tendincy to sweat and rub together.

I really am confused. Has anyone ever had this or know what it might be?

Sounds like it might be herpes. Herpes can cause a "burning sensation" without causing any visible symptoms (like a sore or blister). Go to a clinic or your doctor and ask to get a HERPES BLOOD TEST.

I went to a different doctor today, and he said that it's like a fungus problem. he prescribed a cream to put on. He says that a fungus can appear and disappear like that. Sweating down there causes the burning sensation. It's also like a chaffing thing apparently.

My BF has similar issues. And I am sure the doctor told you, you need to treat the area longer than 2 days (even if it feels better) or the fungus can reoccur. It is a very common problem for people, especially men. I wouldn't worry. FYI though, skin-to-skin contact (even with a condom) can still transmit HPV and herpes. But it doesn't seem relavant to your current situation. Good Luck!

PS: If you have a fungus/yeast make sure you current partner knows and treats him/or herself since you can reinfect one another.
