| Advice Please
A few months ago my boyfriend went to Planned Parenthood with a bump he discovered on his penis. He was told it was genital warts, he got tested, and was cleared for everything else. I chose not to go in to get tested for a number reason. I know that I should, but my reasons are very valid.
HOWEVER, twice since then I've had strange, painful bumps around my vagina. I assumed they were ingrown hair, did some research and thought they might be herpes, but because of his negative test and the fact that my bumps didn't match the information I found totally, I didn't get tested. They haven't reappeared for two months or so, and I know I know I KNOW I am being slightly irresponsible in not getting tested, but again, my reasons are extremely valid.
My worries have been totally sated since his negative test, but I recently read on a non-reputable source that herpes tests in men are very inaccurate. I trust the advice giving on HealthBoards: Is this true? That's the second test he's had in a year and both were negative, and he has been my only sexual partner.
