genital wort?

i think i might have a wort. i noticed a growth about 3 days ago. but ironically i just had my gyno exam about six days ago. since there was no growth yet? would it show up in the exam if i indeed had the virus?

First of all someone needs to tell you exactly what they look for at your check up (if its a general one).

A large number of girls/women actually think they detect STD's/STI's etc.. which they are not really designed to do.

ie they will only pick up what they are looking for.

Obviously, I'm a guy so I don't even know what they look for, but a woman I know thought that she was "STD free" because she had 6 monthly check ups.. and thats not what they look for by what other people have told me!

nb: Doctors are like car mechanics...they don't spot everything that needs fixing..you know what looks diff...so go back and point it out..if not just for psychological relief...

well if it was hpv, would it be detectable before hand? thats my question. thanks though

yes it would. IT depends though...sometimes they are microscopic and cannot be seen and other times they are larger and easily diagnosed. Dont base anything by what you see on the internet. THe pictures provided are only the most rare cases and usually with ppl that HIV. Get it checked and point it out.

i got my results back and they are negative for hpv. so i guess i'll just see how it develops
