About 6 months ago my ex girlfriend had abnormal pap smear when we where both sexually active. Her doctor gave her a paper on HPV. I tried to find more about it when I was with her but it became very difficult. I am scared that I have HPV but I not sure what to do about it. On the shaft of my penis I have one little dot that looks kind like a pimple but I can’t pop it and it has white small head. I am not sure if it is a wart or not. What does a genital wart look like?
I scheduled myself to go to another urologist to get this checked out. What STD test should the doctor do when I go in for my appointment? What other tests should I get tested with to make sure I didn’t get anything else?
I heard since I am a guy I have no way of telling if I have HPV. What should I say to my new girlfriend because I don’t want too scary her off because I not even sure if I have it. Any help is very appreciated. Thanks
Well I made an urologist appointment to get it checked out. I am hoping that it is not genital warts. One thing I heard that smoking and stress could have caused her abnormal pap smear. She was a very high-strung woman. That’s why I don’t think it was HPV. I guess I will never know if I have it unless another sexual active parner has abnormal pap smear. What tests should I get run on me to check for any other STD?
Well I went to the urologist and he was idiot. Hey basically couldn't answer any of my questions at all. He gave me a prescription of aldara. I may hold off on it because it seems like the sist is going away. I just mad because he couldn’t tell me if it was a wart or not so that was not helpful at all. He called it a sist but he didn’t go too much into detail.
It basically one dot on the shaft of my penis. The head of it looks white and it can’t be popped. Not sure what to do from here. Do I play the waiting game see what happens?
