| Syphillis Testing Window?
Can anyone point me to a website or respond with the testing window for syphillis (time it takes for the test to detect antibodies)? I had a very troubling sexual encounter in early February of 2006. I was tested for all STDs about 6 weeks later and all were negative. I have tested further out for HIV (out to 5 months - all negative) but I still feel really down, tired and I have had some skin issues and odd sores. Some of the symptoms I've seen described of syphillis seem to match what I have experienced so I am considering getting re-tested.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
