Unhappy Please Help

Ok, so this could be nothing or it could be something and Im really hoping its the former: Sorry its so long, but i just thought id give as much info as possible.

A little while ago, I noticed a little bump thing on the outer edge of my vagina (low down, sort of where your vagina meets your thigh) it was there for a while, and I only noticed it because i shaved, but it then went away. It was sort of hard-feeling, but not sore or irritating.
I now have now noticed another one on the same side but higher up and a bit more towards the centre. Again, its not really sore but it is bigger and quite noticible. It looks like a big pimple, but harder and less inflammed.
These alone dont really worry me that much although I am going to get it checked out because ive gotten a 2nd one.

I recently (about 6-8 weeks ago) had sex with a guy friend, and we used a condom, and since then we have also had oral sex. Last week I gave him oral sex, and today he asked me if it was possible that I have an STD because he has a rash. I dont know what sort of rash, how serious it is, or where exactly it is located, but he said its probably nothing and he wasnt worried. I said I didnt think I had anything, and I honestly dont think so because he is my first sexual partner, BUT Ive never been checked so I dont know for sure. He said he also asked the girl he was with before me, but she doesnt have anything. The rash (on him) and the bumps (on me) may both be nothing, and im hoping hes just got an irritation or jock-ich or something, but i have gotten cold sores on my mouth in the past, so i wondered if it was possible i have herpes without realising it and have given it to him?? I have not had a cold sore in many months and didnt have one when i gave him oral sex.

Im trying really hard not to be so worried about this but I am, and the earliest i can see a doctor is thursday (3.5 days from now and thats IF i can get an appointment.) Im just really worried that 1) I have something nasty, and 2) ive given it to him without realising.

Is it possible to have herpes/genital warts etc before you start having sex? PLEASE HELP ME IM DRIVING MYSELF NUTS!!!

Re: Please Help

it is very very rare to get something SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED before you have sex... i wouldnt worry about it. its good that you're getting a doctor's opinion. until you know what it is, i wouldnt freak out. many of us get bumps in our genital region either from shaving, sitting too long, etc. its a very moist environment and is prone to pimples, ingrown hairs, and so on. there are a hundred different things it could be, and honestly, i wouldnt worry about it being something "nasty" like herpes and/or genital warts. however, it is possible to get genital warts even if you wear a condom, but like i said, i wouldnt worry. if he is your first, and he claims to be clean, then you have nothing to worry about. keep me posted and let me know what the doctor says about it. until then, relax!

Re: Please Help

Thanks so much 4 replying, i feel much better now, and very relieved! I dont think its anything and he told me today that the rash has gone.
I just wanted to apologise if any offence was taking with my ill-judged use of the word "nasty". I did not mean for it to come across as it did. Theres enough pre-conceptions and judgement going around when it comes to STDs that are based totally on ignorance and fear without me adding another label to the bunch. So Im sorry bout that.
thanks again.
