Yesturday evening I noticed like a tender area near my gum on the roof of my mouth. Previously I also had a little mouth ulcer (which went away in a few days) and am now just a little worried as to whether its Syphillus or not.

I have recently been giving my boyfriend oral sex (he hasnt ejaculated in my mouth any of these times).

My boyfriend has insisted that he has been tested a couple of times for STD's and was given the all clear.
I believe him..but..because I have now been getting these things..I've started to doubt, which devastates me cause I dont wanna doubt my boyfriend.

I have noticed that in the times when these things have appeared, it has come in a time when I am hormonal. Also in these times, I might get a pimple near my lips. Not on my lips, just near.

I am going to the doctor today..but..I am just so anxious about this.

Do you think I have anything to worry about?

One of the ways that syphillis is passed from person to person is through contact with the open chancre. Therefore, if he had an open chancre on his penis, then it is possible that the sore you found could be syphillis. However, it is also possible that the sore in your mouth is simply not sexually related but just an ulcer or chancre sore. IT is always wise to consider having a routine STD panel done including HIV test if you're going to be sexually active and no using protection. chris
