I am wondering if you can get an STD from having oral sex? I don't ever do oral on a girl cuz I am always worried bout STDs....you never know who has one. But, I am not sure if you can actually get an STD from performing oral sex on a girl? I might just be overworrying myself. I really want to do it bad cuz I know girls really love this and I also feel bad b/c they always give me oral sex. What are the chances of getting an STD from this? Are they really rare? 0 percent? Very high likelihood? Cuz I'm about to just stop worrying about it and start doing it.

The possibility of contracting an STD from oral sex is dependent upon the kind of STD your partner may or may not have. For example, it appears to be distantly possible to contract HIV through oral sex. However, if your partner has gonorrhea, syphilis, clamydia, or hpv for example then is highly possible that you will contract that STD as well. So, to answer your question, the chances of contracting an STD is high if your partner has an STD except for HIV. chris
