How long after having unprotected sex, should someone get a full STD check-up?

it depends on what you're looking for. Generally, for a very active person with many different partners, I would get a full panel every three months including an HIV test. Many STDs are symtomatic within four to 14 days after contact except for HIV and clamydia.
