I went to the doctor yesterday because of painful urination and bumps around my anus that have now turn into painful blisters. When he swabbed my cervix,it burned like hell. He said it could be genital warts or herpes. But he won't know till the results come in 2weeks. The waiting is scaring me. This is my first time having these strange bumps and blisters. They did not appear until after my husband and I had anal sex 3 days ago. What does this sound like to you. Can someone help me with this thanks.

It's difficult to say really without having any knowledge of yours, or your husband's sexual history. I know it's horrible to have to wait, but you'll get the results soon enough and when you do, you'll feel relieved to actually know what's wrong.

Oh my goodness the wait is pure agony. I hurt trying to urinate and have a bowel moment.

just to let you know, i am not a doctor and i don't know everything but if you had anal sex and then go right to regular vaginal intercourse that can cause infection too. you should never go from having anal sex and right away entering the vaginal area. that can cause infection.

Oh i'm aware of that. We only had anal sex that night. The bumps appeared two days after that and the third day they became painful blisters. Is there anything I can use to numb down there so I can go to bathroom without agonizing pain?
