First off is there any possibility that I as a woman could have contracted chlamydia from my boyfriend and have a period over two years pass before I notice any personal symptoms. Secondly, is there an option for treatment of chlamydia which is taken in one dose versus over time.

The answers to your questions are YES. Chlamydia often does not show any signs in females. Maybe some discharge that may seem normal and sometimes abdominal pain during sex. Sometimes at your local health dept. they will give you a penicillin shot or some kind of drink to cure it. But get that taken care off because it can cause ovarian scaring and cause you not to be able to have kids. Goodluck. T
