How quickly can someone develop anal warts? Everything on the web says that just because you didn't get them within a month or two doesn't mean your safe, but I cannot find how quickly. I was anally raped (omg I never said or typed that) recently and would really like to know the answer to this. Please help!!

And yes, I will go to a doctor.

well, after doing more research, it looks more likely that I have herpes. Freakin yeah. I swear the big guy upstairs hates me.

I'm sorry to hear what happened. Definitely get tested by a dr just to make sure. But although geniatal/anal herpees is not fun, it is not the worst virus. Don't be too frightened.

I have herpes simplex (on my mouth) from when I was young. My mom and aunt had them when they were young as well. It was passed from my mom, not sexually.

It does suck at times (and Ive never personally experienced herpes anywhere else then my mouth) but there have been many many advancements in treatments lately, and I think that herpes has a reputation that is worse than the reality of the virus.
