Hi,

I was diagnosed with Mollusum on my inner thigh and vagina last month. I have had about 20-30 bumps for about 3 months now. My doctor at first said not to do anything, just wait it out, but when I went back with 4 on my vagina she prescribed Aldara.

I've done Aldara for 2 weeks now and all that has happened is that the bumps have become really red, a few have what appears to be scabs.

Well, I was looking up Aldara (IQ) and apparenty it is extremely carcinogenic. It is listed on the American Cancer Society website and everything. Well, needless to say, I have stopped with the Aldara. Why the heck did my doc prescribe it to me?????

I don't know what to do.....my husband has it too, we don't know where we got it, but we aren't having sex now because of it and it just looks horrible. Its so depressing.

My question is....how effective is pulling out the core yourself? I do NOT want to spread them, and that is what my doc said would happen if i tried the cutting method. And she said i would just infect them.

I have also read to put duct tape on them and pull it off, put urine on them, use wart remover....what the heck works??????? I am at my wits end, about to try them ALL!!!
