Hi all. My boyfriend and I had intercourse friday night. He slipped out and went into the "wrong" hole. We stopped and he washed off because I got a UTI from this happening once before, but I don't know how thoroughly he did, probably just some water. Then we went on our merry way. The next two days I had no symptoms. With my last UTI I had symptoms the next day and they found ecoli in my urine sample. Anyway I started having symptoms sunday night - painful urination, and it feels like I'm not done when I am, and these continue today. It's painful at the tail end of my pee, really painful, and the pain seems to be vaginal. it's not the same pain as last time. I think actually I'm swollen there, but not sure if it's just my imagination. Anyway I gave a urinary sample today and the doc gave me a prescription for a UTI because that's what I thought I had, but I'm wondering if possibly I have an STD or vaginal infection? If I do will they be able to see that in my urine sample and will the antibiotics help?
