I can't believe how stupid I am, I've caught Gential Herpes off of my girlfriend. On Monday I went with my girlfriend to get a full check up on sexually transmitted diseases (blood and urine tests).

This time I made sure that they'll test for HIV, it's just the wait is so frustrating.

I know I'm to blame for my actions, I know what the consequences are, I know what the possible further consequences are.

If I have HIV though, I don't know how I will cope. I coped when finding out about my Herpes by pretending that I didn't care about it, but no way I could cope with HIV. I mean, what would be the point? You're guaranteed to have your life ruined if you have it.

I know I'm thinking very negatively, but this wasn't the best time for the Herpes and all of that to happen (I have big exams currently).

I just hope I can come out of this a greater person.

hey trent

People have not only lived for DECADES with hiv, there are documented cases of people BEATING hiv, most recently in the UK.

Anything is possible, if I were you though Id let this be a wake up call for life and frame it as positivley as possible.
