hi, i gave oral sex and received unprotected anal sex today. no fluids (as far as i know were exchanged). he pulled out before releasing. he says he does not have any stds gets tested every few months, but i'm still kind of nervous. i will never do anything like this again. Is it likely to catch any stds from this since no fluids were exchanged?

Yes!

Go get tested. Lack of ejaculation does not mean no STD passed on and the anus is the worse place for catching viruses as the skin is very fragile and during anal sex you can get small/tiny tears in the skin and get viruses passed on through them.
Never take anyones word that they are safe, go get checked out.

how long should i wait to be tested? someone told me to wait a week so that all stds would accurately show up. after the first test, how often should i get tested after that?
