I have been having a relationship with my girfriend for about two years with no problems. The past three months I developed a little bump in my groin area. Went to the doctor a he said it was a molluscum. He froze it with liquid nitrogen & it was gone in a couple weeks. Since then I developed 5 more in my groin/genital area over a couple months, got those frozen off also. They always form at my hair follicals. I told my girlfriend about my problem she checked herself & couldn't find no bumps. In my mind I had to get it from her. Whats puzzling me I'am not 100 percent sure were I picked this up. I'am not seeing anyone else, don't go to the gym, don't swim in pools, don't share towels are anything like that. Would like to know were I got it from any suggestions?

People react differently to the virus. You may have actually caught this before you started dating your girlfriend and had little or no symptoms. She may have carried the virus and passed it to you and never had any symptoms at all. Molluscum is passed really easily and can hang around in the system for quite a while, so it's often hard to figure out where it came from.

Thank you didn't think anyone would answer. It's putting a strain on our relationship. If it clears my system can I pick it up again if I'am re-exposed. I'am hopping my immune system will keep it in check.
