So my doctor said I have molluscum and I have had them for a good two months she said they would go away on its own but maybe not for awhile so she used some liquid stuff on them.

A few hours later I washed it off and there is some blistering like she said. What can I do to help the blistering and help it to not scar or leave marks? Also, any other tips PLEASE!!!!!! Thanks!!

An update: after the treatment with the liquid at the doctor they blistered and now they dont hurt anymore but there are still blister marks that are red and kind of scabby-like. What can I put on them to make them go away and not leave marks?? THANKS.

Also, is molluscum an STD? You can get it without sexual contact can it not be an STD??

It is not technicaly an STD. Children often spread them from simple skin to skin contact. But, if on the genitles, they were probably sexually acquired.

It is possible to treat them by removing the inner core of the bumps. You would have to make a tiny incision and pluke the tiny core out, which is risky to do and might result in a tiny scar or even an infection if you are not careful. Not for the feint of heart! But, it clears them up pretty quickly. However, if you are not clean and wash up very well, in addition to an infection, you could spread the virus and end up with a much worse case.
