I went to the clinic today for my yearly pap. She told me I have an STD which she is pretty sure is Chlamydia(but we wont no 100% until the lab results come back) and she gave me 4 pills-1 Cypro and 3 pink pills that started with a Z(i cant remember the name) She told me what she was giving me. I didnt really pay to much attention because i was really upset and didnt realize i didnt get a Rx for the pills. So i guess what i was wondering is if she will just have me come back in to get the Rx after the tests come back or what? I am really scared. I feel horrible. I dont know if i can wait until the tests come back. Im going to go crazy. any info you can give me will help! Thank you!
You might want to confirm that with your doctor, to be sure how to take them right (all at once? delayed?) since you said you weren't paying attention.
I presume the "Z" drug is Zithromax, which is long lasting so you only need a few pills. That would be for Chlamydia. Even a single dose of Cipro is very effective against gonorrhea.
