Herpes lesions usually itch initially, then get red and are about the size of a pencil eraser in diameter. They turn into a blister, then break open into an open sore like a ulcer that hurts and stings in the shower or when something touches it. These bumps could also be small genital warts forming, which would be preferrable in that they are more easily treated. They are contagious also, and can spread from one spot on yourself to another, so I would leave them alone, and in a couple to 3 days, you'll know. Either way, you should get them looked at and treated. Abstinence is needed for the time being until the lesions are diagnosed and treated and healed.
