Post dry, red patches on penis-HELP!

My boyfriend & I have been sexually active w/o using condoms for 2 months now. A week ago, we noticed two red, dry, scaly patches on his penis. He isn't having any discharge from the patches or from the tip of his penis. He says it may just be irration from masturbation because he doesn't use lubrication, although he's never had this problem before. Also, it is now painful for him to masturbate & have sex w/ me.
He's tried applying lotion, but it doesn't seem to help. I don't have any STDs that I know of, but from all the info I've read, his situation doesn't sound like any STD. The only thing we can think of is that it may be a yeast infection on his penis or just plain irritation. I'm not sure if it's coincidental, but during the same week, my lips became extremely dry & scaly, but it's different from regular chapped lips, nothing is really helping the problem.
Prior to this all occuring, I think I may have had some sort of infection in my vagina. I didn't think it was a yeast infection at the time because my discharge wasn't really clumpy & white & didn't smell of yeast, although I did have some sort of discharge & experienced a great deal of itching & my clitorus hurt to touch & was very red. After carefully cleaning my vagina w/ antibacterial soap & hydrogen peroxide for about a week, the symptoms went away. I could have been wrong since I've never had a yeast infection to my knowledge. What is going on? Someone please help me! Thanks!

ps. I am still, definitely going to get tested for
STDs very soon.

I'm also experiencing some of the symptoms you said your boyfriend had. For the past month the head of my penis has been somewhat dry. Sex has also been uncomfortable with my girlfriend because the head is so sensitive. I've been to my doctor and even saw a specialist. Doctor said it wasn't clamydia or another STD and the urologist said he didn't see anything. BUT I FEEL IT AND I KNOW IT'S NOT FEELING RIGHT. There's still an uncomfortable feeling. My girlfriend got her test results back also and there were no STD's but the doctor did say he had a slight yeast infection. I'm wonding now if that could be contributing to my sensitivity for the past month??? You mentioned an yeast infection also. If you find out anything from your doctor PLEASE let me know. I'm expecting a call from her doctor to ask her some questions and will let you know also.

Re: dry, red patches on penis-HELP!

I have also been having the same problem you are describing. I am 19 m, and in a long term relationship. My girlfriend and I have been having sex without a condom for about a year and a half now with no problems at all, until about 3 months ago.
The patches are exactly as you described, often peeling but not sore until recently. I am going to the doctors some time this week because i have had enough and i want to know whats going on, so any information i find out i would be happy to share. I have done a bit of research and I suspect it may be a yeast infection, im hoping its not an sti!
Anyway will keep you posted!

I also had that and first I was also very afraid too. But if you shower everyday and just avoid getting it dirty with urine and semen it won't happen I think.
