This is kind of long, but please read! I need some answers! - Sexually Transmitted Diseases Message Board

I have been dating this woman for about a 2 months, and have been very sexually active with her since I met her. I know it was stupid but we have never used protection. Three weeks ago she went to Florida supposedly by herself, now I have never been the jealous type, so I thought nothing of this. When she got back we did not have sex for about a week because she said she was having her period, with alot of bad cramps. We spent the last couple of days with each other, which included plenty of sex, but last night it became painful to urinate, and I had a white pusy discharge. Today when I went to the medcheck they gave me a perscription for chlamydia and told me they would have the results back in two days. Here's the question I'm kindof ****ed about this at the moment, but I really like this girl, but I'm curios could she of had this two months ago, and I just didn't catch it, or did she get this in Florida bring it home knowingly have it, thought she was over it after a week and give it to me. I was going to wait until I get the results back to tell her. I really like her and in my heart I want to keep seeing her, but if there is a chance she brought this home from Florida and gave it to me, I will most likely quit seeing her. Thanks for any oppinions on this!

well the virus shows up a week or two after u've become infected.. that's what i've read. i didn't know i had it either bec. i had no symptoms.. i never cheated on my bf of 2 years, but i might have had it for so long with my past ex's.. the weird thing is my bf was never infected bec. he tested negative on it... that i would like to know how that was possible since chlamydia is transferable, but at least it's treatable... now i'm thinking maybe some weird bacteria just somehow found it 's way through.. lol who knows

Well, thanks for your input Isab3lla. I was ****ed off when I first found out I had it, but after some researching I realized that either one of us could of had it for a while and might not have known it. I haven't recieved the lab results back yet, but I feel like I need to tell her whats going on. So I hope she doesn't freak out too bad.

well my bf didn't believe me at first... i still don't know how i got it and my bf didn't! you might as well tell your gf bec. if you guys are still getting it on without protection, you might end up getting it again.

Oddly enough I got my test results back and they were negative. I glad they were negative, but I curious about what it was. I seemed to have all the symptoms of Chlamydia, (painful urination, puss, aching balls). Is there a chance they made a mistake or maybe a false negative?
