Sorry for being so misinformed and such, but can you get an STD even if you use a condom? I'd like to know before I go any further with my guy. Thanks!

Yes you can get an STD even though you use a condom. HPV can be transmitted even if you use a condom. If your parnter has symptoms on his penis, you can catch it if it touches your genital area, because when a male puts on a condom, it never cover the whole penis.

Thanks, that's what I thought but I was double verifying. And PrincessShanna, don't worry! I know I'm definately not ready for sex yet but I just want to get all my questions and concerns out of they way for whenever I *am* ready - which may not be for a long time, who can tell?
