Hi, you could catch any STD that the giver is infected with orally. The most common would definately be Herpes. It is estimated that over 80% of the population is positive for HSV1 (oral herpes or coldsores). It is possible to catch genital herpes from someone who has HSV1 in their mouth, even if there are no symptoms present, and even if it has been like 10 years since they had a coldsore. Most people who have herpes don't even know it, doctors estimate around 80% of those with herpes don't know it because alot of people don't get symptoms, or the symptoms are so mild, they don't notice it as being herpes. This is why the number of people infected with genital herpes is growing as such a fast rate (right now they estimate 1 in every 4 people, but that is an old statistic, and they expect it to be higher now). HPV is possible to have orally, but not very common. It would be a very good idea to use a condom when receiving oral sex.
