 rash on fingers
About three weeks ago, my boyfriend developed a rash on his fingers just below his knuckles. When I first saw it, they looked like tiny scabs. He thought it was just dry skin that had gotten chapped. I didn't think about it until I too got it on one of my fingers but had only a two little bumps. They started as red bumps and eventually became small recessed scabs. Each of us got these a few days after having our fingers in my vagina. We have never had vaginal sex with each other or anyone else. I recently had myself tested for stds (other than syphilis and hiv) because I had a very brief oral sex encounter with another guy a year and a half ago and all came back negative. (My boyfriend and that guy are the only ones I have ever been with sexually.) Does anyone think this rash is related to the fingering and/or an std? Or could it just be that I got it from holding hands with him?
