How can you say that it's certain that I don't have it?
Their is a simple way to be 100% certain, take a test.
Look. HIV has no specfic symptoms - period. One swollen node certainly would never be a signal of HIV. Even if you had HIV, it would be very rare to have any noticable symptoms in such a sort time scale.
You can walk into a clinic and get a test done and get results within 15 minutes. The time you first posted to now, you could have had this issue resloved. How much longer you protract this is your choise but if you really are that concerned then reslove it with a test. No speculation on a forum can ever tell your status. Their are no fortune tellers here.

Well, i had the ultra sound on my neck and they couldn't find anything at all and said i don't need to go back to the doctors about the gland thing. Not sure what to think. Had my blood test last Tuesday so got to wait for the results for that. They're testing for thyroid, diabetes and anaemia because i feel so run down. I'm certain the gland in my neck feels swollen though.

Like I said, I've got a blood test next week. HIV does have symptoms e.g. Swollen nodes, night sweats etc
As i said "specific " symptoms. Those can relate to anything as i said in your first thread. I have those symptoms, hence all the tests i had. I dont have HIV and i dont have cancer.

I will tell you what you want to hear... you do have HIV, that is what happens when you have unprotected sex with someone you arn't 100% sure is clean.
Everyone has had scares and you are taking this way too far, people are on here trying to give you support and calm your nervous but all you are doing is shutting everyone down and deciding you have HIV which you were convinced even before you started this topic you had.
Go have the tests done and worry about it then. That is all you can do.

No need to be mean about it. I have an anxiety disorder, did you know that? I can't help worrying.

I had a blood test Tuesday. I'm not exactly sure what they're testing my blood for, she just said a full blood test. It usually takes a week or so for the results. I had the ultra sound today and the doctor said there was nothing there and that i don't need to go back and see my doctor about the gland thing. Maybe i'm just paranoid but i swear it feels like there is a gland there that's swollen. I told the doctor who did the scan about how i'd had a swollen gland in my neck before this and in the same place. He just said it was normal and nothing to worry about. It's like they don't take you seriously...

Well you should take it as good news because its good news and it means its somthing that you now dont have to worry about and that it was not swollen.
Your blood test wont be for hiv unless you give permission for it. which country are you from?

Dont be, its very easy, i have had to go and its not as bad as you would think, i found the people very nice and easy to talk to. You could of course just go private.

Are there any pharmacy's near you that have a home oral HIV tester? I'm from USA and we have them here. Check if you got them there. One swab of the outer gums and stick it in the solution and wait 20 minutes. You will know where your at from then.
If you don't have one of those testers at a pharmacy near you, go to a clinic. Trust me bud, I was scared the death for the past 6 months. First I thought I had hepatitis then I though I had HIV. Turns out I have neither or any std. The only way you could tell if you have any std is to tell your doc or go to a blood clinic an tell them you want to be checked for everything, including hep c and HIV. Or else they won't check you for it.
I got the results for my complete blood check. Nothing abnormal there but I know they don't check for HIV. I'm booking a smear test and will get an STD test then. When I ring the doctor do I just say I'd like to book a smear test?
