Hi,

I've never had a cold sore in my life so I've always been unaware of whether I had this virus or not. However, my boyfriend gets recurring cold sores but he refuses to kiss me or share foods when he has outbreaks. About 2 months ago he had an outbreak and during the stage where he was mostly healed, we forgot and I ended up taking a sip from his drink.

NOW.
Yesterday and the night before, I gave him oral sex. I've NEVER had any signs of cold sores before or any outbreaks, but when I woke up this morning, I noticed a white-ish painless bump half on my lip and half just above my lip. It looks like a mini mosquito bite for visual effects. If this is a cold sore, could I have been contagious last night or the night before even though there were no warning symptoms? I'm afraid I've passed something to his genitals.
