 Taking Accutane with HSV-1
Hi all, I'm considering going on Accutane, (I really need it) but I'm concerned of the possibility that it may promote HSV-1 outbreaks (genital)
I've only had one OB (the initial one). and I've never had it on my face.
My theory is that, given the fact that Accutane apparently can weaken your immune system as well as aggravate your skin, that this potentially could contribute to/provoke outbreaks. Does anyone know anything about this?
I've tried researching but haven't found anything useful.
