So 22 months ago I received unprotected oral from a girl with a very questionable past. I am extrememly concerned about having contracted an STD from this. During the past 2 or 3 months I have been experiencing chronic pain in my legs, mostly by the hamstrings and the calves. This is is both legs and I dont work out. When i walk down stairs I feel like my calves are pulsating. The only other symptoms I have are I occasionally get large fluid fileld blisters on my back ONLY. I have never seen one on or near my genital areas. These occur periodically and they are usually spread out and only one or two of them. I have run through the gamut of what I could be exposed to.. I have tested 6 times in the past 2 weeks with the Oraquick home HIV test and all showed clearly negative. Should I trust this result???
As far as other STD's i was informed gonnorhea would have likely shown up by now. I guess the main concerne is Herpes, has anyone heard of herpes presenting this way? I also have never had a cold sore, have no burning when I urinate, and no discharge.
I received 2 hep B vaccinations so would that cover me?
Lastly, what about syphilis and chlamydia? I havent seen anthying on my penis, nor have I shown any additional symptoms...
Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated...
I think it's safe to safe all of these would have shown up by now. No, Herpes does not present itself on your back. It would be in your mouth/throat (from oral sex) or your genitals. You would know within a few weeks if not sooner. Hep. B shots will not protect you from STDs.
HIV is "not" passed on via oral sex? Did you really just say that?!?!?!?!
Did you search the individual's mouth for sores, cuts, or ANYTHING prior to her performing fellatio? Are you kidding me?!?!
YES, HIV can be passed through oral sex!!!!!
Yes i did say that for a very good reason, its factual.
He recived oral sex, salvia is non infectious hence why kissing is not a risk of hiv transmission, and in this case all they have done is kiss his penis not his lips.
Further more, hiv experts fully agred hiv is not passed on via oral sex in normal circustances. The only real possiblity is if somone had a open socket from having a tooth removed and a lot of sperm entered it and even then its only a possiblity, and in reality experts have not seen a cases of hiv transmission from oral sex. The mouth is a hostile place with over a dozen emzymes and protiens that make the virus inactive.
To add further education for you, many studies have been done with couples where one is positive the other negative and their was not one case of hiv transmission.
If you would like to go to the hiv forums you will find plenty of information that may help you with more knowlage on hiv transmission and their are at least 30 threads a month on this subject.
