i have depression for almost 3 years and it sucks being me i have a loving family and i am the youngest in my family i have all my family around me and still feel so alone it funny i have this for along time and still cant belive that i have it

You probably realize by reading the posts here that you are not alone in having depression. For some reason many of us have found that it helps to be able to discuss it with others who understand what it's like. You didn't say if you have seen a dr. or are under treatment of any kind, and if so how long and if it has helped any.

Depression can be a lonely place, even when you are surrounded with a loving family. I am in the same boat. It is hard for our loved ones to understand depression if they have not experienced it, that is why we feel so alone.

you said that you still can't believe you have it. First you need to claim it. Don't be ashamed and don't let depression define who you are. Have you sought help?
